Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. They explain what to expect from Mind Bridge and your sessions with Rugile.

Last updated: 10 July 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions describe the relationship between Mind Bridge (Rugile) and you, the client. By booking a free consultation or a paid session you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If anything is unclear, please email info@mindbridge.uk before booking.

2. About Rugile & professional standing

Rugile is a trained psychologist and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and works in line with the BPS Code of Ethics and Conduct. Mind Bridge is a private practice; it is not part of the NHS and is not a regulated healthcare provider.

3. Services offered

Mind Bridge offers online individual therapy and psychological support for adults. Sessions are 50 minutes and delivered via Google Meet. Services are intended for personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and non-crisis support.

4. Free 15-minute consultation

The first 15-minute consultation is free and carries no obligation. It is a chance to meet, share what kind of support you are looking for, and decide together whether to proceed.

5. Pricing

Individual sessions are £45 for UK clients or €50 for clients in Lithuania, per 50 minutes. Multi-session package prices are shown at checkout. The price shown at checkout is the total amount payable. Prices may be reviewed from time to time and any change will be communicated in advance.

6. Booking & payment

Sessions are paid in advance to secure the booking. Payments are processed securely by Stripe (card, Apple Pay and Google Pay). Mind Bridge never sees or stores your full card details. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received.

7. Package sessions & expiry

Multi-session packages must be used within 3 months of the date of purchase. Any sessions not booked and attended within that period will expire and are non-refundable. This helps keep therapy consistent and effective.

8. Cancellations & rescheduling

If you give more than 24 hours' notice, your session can be rescheduled or refunded in full. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before the session start time are non-refundable and count as a used session. If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time so it does not affect the next client.

9. Refunds

A full refund is available where cancellation notice is more than 24 hours before the session, or where Rugile has to cancel and no suitable alternative time can be agreed. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.

10. Confidentiality

Everything shared in sessions is treated as confidential. Confidentiality may only be broken where required by professional and legal duties: a serious risk of harm to you or another person, safeguarding of a child or vulnerable adult, a court order, or disclosure duties under UK anti-terrorism or money-laundering law. Where possible this would be discussed with you first.

11. Data protection (UK & EU GDPR)

The data controller is Rugile, trading as Mind Bridge; you can contact her at info@mindbridge.uk. Personal data is processed on the following lawful bases: performance of a contract (delivering your sessions), legitimate interests (running the practice safely), consent (where you opt in, e.g. to marketing), and legal obligation (safeguarding and record-keeping). Data collected includes your name, email, phone, country, booking history, brief clinical notes, and payment metadata (no full card numbers). You have the right to access, correct, delete (subject to retention duties below), restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK or the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI) in Lithuania.

12. Data storage & security

Booking and account data is stored in a managed EU-hosted database with encryption in transit and at rest. Clinical notes are kept privately by Rugile in a secured, password-protected file. Sessions take place on Google Meet; no sessions are recorded unless separately agreed with you in writing.

13. Third-party processors

To deliver the service, limited data is shared with reputable third-party processors, each with their own security and privacy terms: Stripe (payments), Google Meet (video sessions), Calendly (scheduling), Supabase / Lovable Cloud (booking data and email delivery). No client data is passed to any other third party for their own purposes. Full details are set out in the Privacy Policy at mindbridge.uk/privacy.

14. Data retention

Clinical notes and booking records are kept for 7 years after your last session, in line with UK professional practice, and then securely deleted. Payment records are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC and accounting obligations. You can request deletion at any time; where a legal or professional duty requires records to be retained, this will be explained to you.

15. No sale or sharing of data

Your personal data is never sold, rented or shared with any third party for advertising or marketing. Data is only shared with the processors listed above strictly to deliver the service, or where disclosure is required by law.

16. Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies by default. Analytics or optional cookies are used only if you agree via the cookie banner. You can review and change your choices at any time using the ‘Cookie preferences' link in the footer.

17. Limitations of online therapy

Online therapy is not suitable for every situation. Rugile may recommend in-person therapy or a specialist service if that would better meet your needs.

18. Emergency support disclaimer

Mind Bridge is not an emergency or crisis service and cannot offer urgent contact between sessions. In an emergency please contact local emergency services (999 in the UK, 112 in the EU) or a crisis helpline such as Samaritans on 116 123.

19. Complaints

If something is not right, please contact Rugile first at info@mindbridge.uk so it can be discussed and resolved directly. If a concern cannot be resolved this way, you may contact the British Psychological Society, or the ICO (UK) / VDAI (Lithuania) about data-protection matters.

20. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page, and the ‘Last updated' date at the top will reflect the current version.

21. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.

22. Contact

Questions about these terms, your data, or your bookings can be sent to info@mindbridge.uk.
